Regional Operations Supervisor

As Aktrion Automotive continues growth throughout Europe and the UK, the North East is increasingly an important area for the business. We have an excellent opportunity for a Regional Operational Supervisor to join the team.

This is a diverse role covering both client focused and operational responsibilities:

Co-ordinating Operations & Productivity: supervising a multi-site multi-disciplinary workforce to ensure workload demands and performance targets are met.

Business Development & Strategy: supporting the Regional Operations Manager in developing and executing a strategic plan to penetrate existing and new client accounts.

Quality & Best Practice: applying Six Sigma techniques to achieve the “No Fault Forward” Aktrion Standard, hands on development of systems and processes across all operational activities.

Financial: using financial data to plan, prepare and report on inventory control, operational budgets and account profitability.

This is an important technical role for the business and the successful applicant is likely to have significant Automotive sector experience with a sound understanding of quality.

In addition, as a client focused role, excellent communication skills together with commercial acumen and a positive entrepreneurial spirit are essential.

Your Education & Experience
  • Preferably educated to minimum NVQ Level 3 in an Engineering / Quality Discipline
  • Working knowledge of Six Sigma problem solving (Green Belt preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years’ automotive industry experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience
  • Working knowledge of Internal product and process audits to IATF 16949
  • Good IT Skills / Microsoft Skills
  • Full Clean Driving Licence
  • Flexibility to work on other sites in the local area if required
The salary for this role will reflect experience and performance at interview. In any event we anticipate a salary in the £28,000 to £30,000 range.
